Work with us

The Australian Institute for Infectious Disease (AIID) will be housed in a new, state-of-the-art facility in Melbourne’s Biomedical Precinct.

Architecturally designed by Wardle and engineered by Aurecon, with laboratory engineering by Wood, the $650m project will commence construction in 2025.

Construction of the facility requires the delivery of a significant infrastructure program over several years with a multitude of skills, labour, resources and other inputs.

The AIID project is eager to engage the best and brightest contractors and suppliers across a multitude of industries to ensure the successful delivery of this critical project.

Expressions of Interest open

As of 18 June, 2024 the University of Melbourne is inviting respondents to submit a formal Expression of Interest to undertake the Main Works design and construction of the AIID facility via VendorPanel.

Other companies and suppliers interested in working on specific aspects of the project are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest via the AIID’s Industry Capability Network gateway
