One Health: interconnected solutions for a healthy Australia – event recording

On Thursday 17 October the University of Melbourne Alumni Team and the Australian Institute for Infectious Disease (AIID) hosted an event focused on One Health: interconnected solutions for a healthy Australia.

The event comprised an expert panel discussion, featuring:

• Professor Kathryn Bowen – Director Climate CATCH Lab, Deputy Director, Melbourne Climate Futures, University of Melbourne.
• Associate Professor Suman Majumdar – Chief Health Officer – COVID & Health Emergencies, Burnet Institute.
• Dr Alicia Arnott– Deputy Head of Epidemiology, Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory.
• Dr Sandra Steele – Senior Lecturer Veterinary Epidemiology (One Health), Melbourne Veterinary School, University of Melbourne.
• Moderated by: Professor Jodie McVernon– Director, Doherty Epidemiology, Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity.
