Early works and demolition on the future Australian Institute for Infectious Disease (AIID) facility site are tracking well, with structural demolition now well past halfway complete. Demolition of 780 Elizabeth Street is nearing completion, 223 Berkeley Street has reached ground level, and works at 766 Elizabeth Street are currently at the halfway mark. The tower crane on site is completing its work and will soon be dismantled and removed.
Early works are scheduled for completion by the end of the 2025.
